All-Ukrainian Association of employers’ organizations of security industry “Federation of security professionals” represents more than 400 Ukrainian companies that specialize in providing security services, namely: physical security of objects, protection of individuals, console safeguarding, protection of moving objects, collection of money and cargo escort, services for installation and maintenance of technical means of protection.
Among the main activities of the association is to ensure favorable and equal conditions for business in the security services market, including maintenance of legality in bidding procedures for the provision of security services.
One of the problems existing today in the market of security services is the dumping policy of some companies in the pricing of basic security services. The main reason for the possible provision of services at prices that are significantly lower than the average market is the violation of legislation on wages and the deliberate provision of poor quality services with tax evasion, the use of unemployed, poorly trained personnel, lack of equipment and personal protective measures for guards, lack of control over the service, etc.
At the same time, there is also the issue of customer underpricing. A preliminary analysis of current purchases indicates that a significant number of companies, institutions, and organizations are planning to afford security services at an underestimated cost below the minimum cost of services, calculated by the requirements of current legislation.
In this regard, the All-Ukrainian Association of employers’ organizations of security industry “Federation of security professionals” provides a calculation of the minimum cost of round-the-clock physical security services by the requirements of current legislation and the minimum wage in December 2021 and 2022.
